Volunteer Opportunity!!!!! Student please read below and learn about the Toys for Tots volunteer efforts. If you are free on the dates specified please consider volunteering. Volunteer work is highly regarded by colleges, scholarship committees and employers!!!
This year, the Toys for Tots distribution warehouse is located at 250 Horizon Street, Suwanee GA 30024. There are various volunteer opportunities for people of ALL ages at the warehouse. The Suwanee warehouse is responsible for the distribution of over 700,000 toys! These toys need to be sorted, counted, and loaded in order to be delivered to children all over the Atlanta area. We are scheduled for morning or afternoon shifts every weekend until Christmas. Feel free to organize a group or just come by yourself! Your efforts will help put a smile on the faces of children everywhere come Christmas morning!
To register: Go to http://northatlanta.toysfortots.org. Click on the “Volunteer” tab in the lower right hand side of the page. From here, you will register your information and choose a date/shift/time for you or your group to come and participate! If you are under 18, you will need to fill out the form that is located on the lower right hand side that says “Local Documents.” You will need to print out the Toys For Tots Gratuitous Service Agreement and have your parent sign the form in order to release the warehouse from any liability.
