Choosing a career path can be a very challenging adventure, but if you start early you more than likely will be able to narrow you choices. Your local schools have counselors ready to speak to you about your likes and dislikes regarding careers. Many counseling departments do presentations on Career Cruising, a website dedicated to helping you discover your skills and interest and providing you with a list of possible career goals. Of course as we grow and experience new things our likes and dislikes may change so only use Career Cruising or any other career as a tool and do not limit yourself to the suggestions of Career Cruising or any other program. Continue to explore all options that interest you.
We have provided a presentation that will help explain how to navigate through the Career Cruising website. You will need to create a username and enter a passcode (please visit your school counselor to get your school’s passcode). Once you have your passcode you will be able to enter the website and begin your career search. You may access the Career Cruising Presentation at any time.
GACollege 411 has useful information in the career section of the website in addition to the wealth of information the site shares about colleges and financing. You will also need as username and passcode to access this site as well but you can create the username and passcode your self.
