Having trouble with your course not loading properly?

With your browser open, go to your tools option and select the internet options. You need to clear your cache (files stored on your computer).  Do this by selecting to delete all temporary files and you may also delete your cookies.  Your computer uses these for quick reference and if you are getting an error message it remembers that as well and basically you are clearing it’s memory.

Why can’t I use the log in box on the front page?

The only way that you can use the log in box on the front page is if you have previously registered for an online course using the Gwinnett County Online Campus registration website. If you don't remember this information, please use the "forgot password" link or the "contact us" button for this information.

Why am I getting a "STUDENT ID NOT UNIQUE "?

You will get this message if you are registering for courses and it will prevent you from moving any further with the registration process.  if you are using a GCPS ID that is already stored in the system, you will encounter a "STUDENT ID NOT UNIQUE " message that will prevent you from registering.  If you get this message, please follow the "forgot password" link so that you can login to complete the registration.  No two students have the same Student ID so if you are using a number that is giving you this error you will need to use the Contact Us button.  Please explain the situation and the

Important Information that can affect your courses loading:

Satellite & Cellular internet connections: These connection types are not supported due to the varied issues with satellite and cellular internet connections dropping packets or parts of the information being transferred through the connection. If this is the only connection you have access to please note that you may experience sporadic issues while working in your online courses.

Wireless Routers/Connections: While working in your online courses via a wireless router or wireless connection you may experience problems such as various error messages. If you contact the online Helpdesk please be aware that part of the troubleshooting process may be to have you bypass your wireless router or connection. If bypassing the wireless router resolves the problems you are experiencing you will either need to continue to bypass the router or contact the router's manufacturer's support to further diagnose the source of this problem.

To make the most of your online learning experience, you will also need the following:

  • An Internet Service Provider (ISP). An ISP is a company that provides you with the software and access necessary for getting onto the Internet. You will need Internet access to take your courses.
  • An email account. Your email address is established when you sign up with an ISP. Check with your ISP if you do not know what your email address is. Special characters can cause problems with some systems that make it difficult to reach the intended mailbox. We suggest that you do not use special characters, for example, +, &, $, etc., in your email address.
