Supplemental Program
The Gwinnett Online Campus Supplemental Program offers students the opportunity to earn credit for courses outside of their regular school day. Program students are typically enrolled in a Gwinnett County brick and mortar school, although full-time Gwinnett Online Campus students can take extra classes as part of the Supplemental Program.
Program students may take online classes in one of two ways:
- FTE – Online courses are offered as part of the student’s regular school day free of charge. The number of classes a student is allowed to take online as a FTE student varies by school. Students must register for FTE online courses through their counselor.
- Tuition – Students may take courses for outside their normal school day on a for-fee tuition basis. The cost for each 0.5 Carnegie unit class is $225. Students may take one course per mini-semester outside their regular school day.
Most GOC courses run on an eight week minimester schedule, as opposed to a regular semester schedule. Click here to compare the pace of an online minimester to a regular semester course.
